After considerable deliberation and with much trepidation, my wife and I decided to sell our family home of 27 years. We raised our children in this home, experienced so many of the challenges of life, but more importantly, we experienced so much of the joys of our lives in this home with our children. We were so blessed with the opportunity to raise our children in our lakefront home. We had so many loving, memorable and fun experiences, not only with our children but also with our extended families. It really was our sanctuary, our true home. We had only sold 1 other home in our lives previously and Lori Srock had represented us as our agent in that sale as well as with the purchase of our existing home. There had been a few difficulties with that sale and Lori was constantly on our side, representing our best interests. Ultimately she made the sale successful and got us into our home of 27 years. When it became time to choose an agent again, she immediately became a top option due to her dedication to our best interests with the previous sale. After such an extended time, we really had little remembrance of the home sale process. After having Lori visit our home, she immediately became a valuable asset to assessing our home for sale as well as providing the details needed. She understood that this was a difficult decision for us, allowing us the time and care we needed to get our home ready for sale and on the market. Finally after all the intense preparation, we listed the house and within 2 weeks our family experienced a devastating loss of an immediate family member and the excitement of selling and relocating lost not only its priority, but also lost its interest as we dealt with our grief. Lori was compassionate, constantly giving us the opportunities to proceed with the sale at the pace we needed to. Ultimately, over the course of our home being on the market, our family suffered the unexpected loss of 2 more additional immediate family members making this one of the most difficult times of our lives. Lori was continuously supportive and gave us the time we needed to deal with the priorities of our lives. Meanwhile, we continued with our efforts to sell the home. We will remain grateful for her understanding and compassion during this entirely difficult process. Ultimately, we had placed the entire process into Lori’s hand’s and it proved to be an excellent decision. From the beginning of the process, we were hoping a young family would find our home and love and appreciate the location as much as we did. Lori found just that family who ultimately successfully purchased our home. We hope they are as blessed there with great and memorable life experiences as we were. Having Lori on our side was beneficial in countless ways. She is so knowledgeable not only of entire process, but also so well connected with the necessary people to help us successfully maneuver such a major life change for us. Ultimately, she sold our home and helped us choose a new home that we love and feel blessed to have purchased. It’s a completely different experience and we’re grateful for the change. We needed Lori’s complete support and attention to get us into our new home as quickly as possible. She assisted in making the closing on our new home a 3 week process! Once again, her support and dedication not only to the process, but her support of us as clients, proved immensely valuable, necessary and appreciated. Thanks to Lori and the people she had connections with, we closed on our sale and our purchase within 2 hours of each other! There were many behind the scene actions that proved Lori’s support of our family during this process. We will forever be grateful for her support, compassion and willingness to work with us as our circumstances permitted. Wishing much success to Lori and much happiness to the family who purchased our family home!Bill & Kris K.
